Globird Energy is a privately-owned Australian company formed in 2014 by founder John McCluskey. They are based in Mitcham, Victoria, with a call centre in Melbourne. They advertise themselves as ‘Australia’s cheap electricity and gas provider.’  

They offer a range of gas and electricity plans in four states in Australia, with discounts available if you arrange direct debit payments and pay on time. They pride themselves on exceptional customer service and affordable energy plans.

GloBird Energy offers a 3% -5% discount on both usage and supply charges for customers who bundle gas and electricity and pay on time with direct debit. The exact discount you can receive depends on which state you live in, and which plan you select. Without direct debit, the discount is 2% – 4%.
