Over the past few years foreign investment in Australia has grown. According to the Australian Bureau of statistics (ABS), the level of foreign investment increased from $153.3 billion (5%) to $3,192.4 billion at the end of 2016. There has also been a sturdy rise of both the private and non-residential buildings that were approved sitting at 18,863 in September alone. Investment in real estate also remained strong with investment approvals at $97 billion.
